Jamie Lavallee

Registered Massage Therapist

Thank you so much for visiting One Branch Therapeutic Wellness!

My name is Jamie, and I’m a Registered Massage Therapist. I own and operate a clinic in Sechelt, BC serving the community and surrounding area’s, even visitors from the city – but I started out as a student like everyone else.

After my training, I worked at various locations gaining experience in the field and continued my studies, learning and adapting as I went. Eventually, I moved from the City (Vancouver) to Gibsons and started my own practice here in Sechelt.

My mission at One Branch Therapeutic Wellness is to provide high quality and professional services from knowledgeable and caring RMT’s.

I love to help people and enjoy what I do very much.

My Story

My own interest in pursuing a career in massage therapy came after personal injury of my own

Massage therapy helped me manage the extreme pain after a traumatic car accident in 2009.

Having had first-hand experience with chronic pain has allowed me to fully understand the psycho-social barriers to recapturing wellness after injury and my experience with a successful small business in the culinary arts also helped to give me the confidence and experience to follow this path.

After graduating from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2016 I began working & gaining experience in a wide range of ailments, conditions and treatments.

At the Vancouver School of Healing Arts in 2018 I studied to expand my knowledge on body movement and meditation through the Yoga Teacher program.

Outside of work I try to keep active and maintain a healthy interest in hiking, kayaking and gardening as well as the finer arts and love to spend time with my four beautiful children.

Alexandra (Sasha) Tymkiw

With an extensive background in personal training, yoga (including trauma informed yoga therapy), a BA in psychology (SFU) and a diploma in Massage Therapy, Sasha takes an integrative approach to treating the entire body. By utilizing clients’ experiences with pain and tension, and incorporating biomechanics with physiology, Sasha seeks to not only treat the presenting complaints, but also decrease the anatomical concerns that have given reason to the complaint in the first place. Sasha breaks down complex ideas into digestible, everyday language, empowering her clients to better understand their bodies, and gain control of their health.
